The Spirit of Cuba @ Glastonbury 2011!

Thanks for making the Cubana Salsa Tent one of the hottest, coolest venues at Glastonbury 2011!

Thanks to all of the performers, production workers, volunteers, dancers, Cubana bartenders and cooks - and especially to you - the people who came and made the Cubana Salsa Tent one of the best Glastonbury 2011 venues - despite some rain, mud and, at the very end, almost Cuban sunshine! Many thanks, too, to the festival for hosting us

The Cubana Salsa Tent saw some great Latin and Cuban bands - apologies that Sur Caribe did not make it in the end, they were detained in Mexico due to visa "misunderstandings"! We are very grateful to Cubana Combination - many of whom have played with Sur Caribe - for stepping in and for all of our other bands - To' Mezclao, direct from Havana, Salsa Kings, Rumba Caliente and Wara for making such great sounds. Thanks too to the awesome Salsa teachers, dancers and DJs 

We served more than 10,000 juicy Mojitos, Fresh Passion Fruit Mojitos, Fresh Tropical Daiquiris, Fresh Frozen Pina Coladas and Smoothies along with delicious 100% Free-Range Cuban street food
